How Wig Consignment Works

1. Submit Your Wig for Review

Start by contacting us with basic details about your wig:

• Brand
• Length and color
• A few clear photos

We’ll review the piece and confirm if it’s a good fit for our Boston-area wig consignment program.

2. Bring Your Wig to Our Woburn Studio

If approved, you’ll schedule a short appointment to bring your wig to The Wig Fox in Woburn, MA.

During this visit we will:

• Inspect the condition of the wig
• Review pricing recommendations
• Go over our consignment agreement

3. Preparation & Display

Every consignment wig is carefully prepared before being offered for sale.

This may include:

• Sanitation and cleaning
• Light styling or refreshing
• Professional photos

Your wig will then be presented to clients during consults and listed on our website, where shoppers can view and try pieces in person.

4. When Your Wig Sells

Once your wig sells, you receive a percentage of the final sale price.

Typical consignment split is:

• Consignor: 60%
• The Wig Fox: 40%

Payments are issued after the buyer’s return window has passed.

Consignment Requirements

We Typically Accept:

• 100% human hair wigs
• Pieces in excellent, gently worn condition
• High-end or premium branded wigs

We may decline pieces that do not meet our quality standards.
