  • We’re delighted to offer complimentary express shipping (3–5 business days) on all in-stock wig orders shipping from the USA to addresses within the USA and Canada. While customs delays are uncommon, they may occasionally occur. Orders are not shipped on U.S. national holidays, so please allow for a one-day delay during those times.

    Important for Canada: Any customs fees, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered by The Wig Fox.

    International Shipping (outside the USA & Canada): We offer flat-rate international shipping of $85. Please note that any customs fees, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

    All shipping timeframes are estimated. Occasionally, delays may occur beyond our control and are not eligible for shipping refunds.

  • Returns & Exchanges

    At The Wig Fox, we want you to feel confident and fabulous in every piece you purchase. If your wig isn’t exactly what you hoped for, you have 3 days from delivery to start a return or exchange. If the third day falls on a Sunday, simply email us by that day to request an extension — giving you until Monday to ship. Once we receive your item, refunds are typically processed within 1 week.

    Return Guidelines

    • Condition: Wigs must be returned in their original state — lace intact, hair unwashed, heat-free, and all packaging included.

    Refund & Exchange Options

    • Standard Refund: A restock fee applies (USA/Canada: $50 flat; International: 10% of order value).

    • Store Credit / Gift Card: No restock fee.

    • Exchange:

      • First exchange: No restock fee; you cover return shipping.

      • Subsequent exchanges: $30 restock fee plus the customer covers shipping both ways.

    Shipping paid at checkout is non-refundable.

    Cancellations: Orders can rarely be canceled. If canceled before shipment, a 5% cancellation fee applies. Orders already shipped follow our normal returns/exchanges policy.

    Defective or Incorrect Items: Email us within the 3-day window with detailed photos. If verified, we will cover return shipping and repair or replace your item. Verified defects are exempt from restock fees.

  • If you see a style/color on our website limited pre-orders are available and often already in production or being finalized. Most pre-orders ship within a few days to two weeks.

  • While some wigs may tolerate bleaching, not all wigs are suitable for lightening.

    All human hair wigs may be colored by a licensed professional stylist experienced with premium wigs. We do not recommend at-home chemical processing, as improper techniques may damage the hair and alter the wig’s lifespan.

    Chemical Disclaimer: Any bleaching, coloring, or chemical processing performed after purchase is done at the customer’s discretion. We are not responsible for damage resulting from chemical services, improper handling, or services performed by third parties.

  • Before and after wear, gently detangle using a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed specifically for wigs. Always begin at the ends and work upward toward the roots, holding the hair above where you are combing to avoid tension on the lace or knots.

    Washing

    We recommend washing your wig only as needed, typically after several wears or when there is product buildup.

    For best results, wash your wig on a wig head or block, rather than in a sink. This helps maintain the natural hair direction and prevents inverted hairs, which occur when strands are pushed back through the lace during washing. Inverted hairs can cause tangling at the roots, shedding, or a rough texture once dry.

    Use a sulfate-free shampoo, gently smoothing the product downward through the hair without rubbing or twisting. Follow with a sulfate-free conditioner, applying from mid-lengths to ends only. Avoid the knots, lace, and cap area to preserve the integrity of the hairline.

    Drying

    After washing, gently blot excess water with a towel — do not wring or twist the hair. Allow the wig to air dry naturally on a wig stand. Once dry, you may style as desired, using heat sparingly and appropriate heat protectant.

    Moisture & Finishing

    A small amount of lightweight hair oil or serum may be applied to the ends to maintain softness and reduce dryness. Avoid heavy products, especially near the roots or lace, as they may cause buildup.

    Heat & Styling

    Circumference
    Start at your front hairline, wrap the tape behind your ears, around the nape of your neck, and back to the front hairline. The tape should be snug, not tight.

    Front to Nape
    Measure from the center of your front hairline, over the crown of your head, to where your skull naturally ends at the back of your neck (usually level with your earlobes).

    Ear to Ear (Hairline)
    Place the tape just above the crease where your ear meets your head, then measure across your forehead to the same spot on the opposite side.
